Introducing the Constellations Practitioner Lab
Happy New Year! We’d like to begin 2026 by introducing you to our practitioner lab, Constellations. We’ll be blogging here about all kinds of things relevant to psychological flexibility, ACT, RFT and behavior analysis, reflecting the ongoing discussions and projects we are all working on both individually and together. This month, we’ll be sharing our reasons for creating a practitioner lab, how we run the lab as a community of practice, and why that is important to us within the larger context of the field.
Firstly, we created Constellations as a shared space for coming together with equally passionate people ready for something new.
The lab brings together behavior analysts and other contextual behavior scientists who share a commitment to a rigorously systematic, functional contextualist, compassionate and values-driven approach to their practice and way of being in the world,. This allows for professionals who may also be geographically or otherwise isolated in their practice to connect with like-minded people.
Together, we work to continually refine our practices; connect with each other; collaborate on research, writing, training and practice projects; hold each other accountable; give and get feedback; and lift each others’ lights high.
Our purpose here is to grow our collective understanding of contextual behavior science. In doing so, we support one another to more deeply understand and apply our science to create more effective, nurturing, contextually sensitive environments and communities that reflect shared values of compassion, cultural humility, sustainability, and social justice.

Thanks for joining us on our journey!
